EST-38 Faraday’s Pails

To re-create and appreciate 'Faraday's ice pail experiment'.

Our Set consists of 2 nesting aluminum cylindrical containers, each fitted with insulating feet.

It is used in physics lecture classes and laboratory courses to demonstrate the effect of electrostatic induction on a conducting container.

It also demonstrates the principles behind electromagnetic shielding, such as employed in the 'Faraday cage'.
