FRICTION BOARD APPARATUS
PR-62
It is used to study the effect of friction using different surfaces.
The apparatus consists of:
- A wooden friction board with dimensions =490 x 75 x20 mm
- A wooden slider with hook, having dimensions=140 x 70 x 20 mm.
- A plain aluminium slider and
- An aluminium slider with rubber backing.
- A further long aluminium slider is provided which fits over the friction board to provide an alternative surface type.
