A turbojet consists of a gas turbine with a propelling nozzle. It has an upstream rotating compressor coupled to a downstream turbine, and a combustion chamber in between.
This model is constructed in cut section and hand painted, to show the basic design of a turbojet.
It is made of light and strong metal showing air intake inlet, axial flow, double stage compressor, fuel supply, a combustion chamber, turbine rotor, jet thrust, exhaust etc.
It is supplied complete on a base.
